The New York Mills Eagles improved to 3-7 overall and 3-3 in the Park Region Conference with a 79-75 win over the Bertha-Hewitt Bears on Thursday night. It was the lone action of the week for the Eagles who will travel to Henning on Tuesday night, before hosting Verndale on Friday night in a pair of Park Region Conference contests.
On Saturday the Eagles will host the Frazee Hornets in a boys-girls doubleheader with the boys game kicking off at approximately 1:30 p.m. The girls team will host Battle Lake as part of the doubleheader.
After a bit of a slow start to the season the Eagles are 2-2 since the start of the 2025 portion of their schedule. They are currently tied with Verndale for fourth place in the conference with a record of 3-3 in PRC action.
