Geiser named to SDSU Dean’s List

South Dakota State University announces Moriah Geiser* of New York Mills, Minnesota, has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester.

Geiser is a student in SDSU’s College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences.

To earn dean’s list distinctions in SDSU’s colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Overall, 3,901 students from 40 states and 32 foreign nations are on the list. More than 1,600 students received a 4.0 GPA, and those are indicated with an asterisk.

Founded in 1881, South Dakota State University is the state’s Morrill Act land-grant institution as well as its largest, most comprehensive school of higher education. SDSU confers degrees from seven different colleges representing more than 230 majors, minors and specializations. The institution also offers 38 master’s degree programs, 16 Ph.D. and two professional programs.

The work of the university is carried out on a residential campus in Brookings, at sites in Sioux Falls, Pierre and Rapid City, and through Extension offices and Agricultural Experiment Station research sites across the state. SDSU’s research expenditures for the 2024 fiscal year were $84 million.

Sneeden named to NCC Dean’s List

Normandale Community College is pleased to announce its 2024 Fall Semester Dean’s List. 

  Suzanna Sneeden, Deer Creek, was enrolled in at least nine credits and have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 for courses completed in the fall semester ending in December 2024. 

  Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minn., enrolls more than 14,000 students each school year and is the largest two-year college in Minnesota State. The colleges and universities of Minnesota State include 26 community and technical colleges and seven state universities serving approximately 270,000 students. It is the third-largest system of two-year colleges and four-year universities in the United States.

NDSU announces Dean’s List

North Dakota State University has announced its fall 2024 Dean’s List.

Students must earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 class credits to qualify. For the semester, 4,322 students made the list.
