The New York Mills Eagles improved to 4-4 in the Park Region Conference with a big 51-44 win over Verndale on Friday night. The win avenged a loss to the Pirates by a score of 66-52 in the regular season opener back in December. 

In addition to Friday’s win over the Pirates the Eagles fell to fourth ranked Henning by a score of 87-49 on Tuesday night and Frazee by a score of 80-58 on Saturday.

NY Mills will once again have a busy week of action with three more games on tap including a non-conference game against Swanville on Tuesday night, before traveling to Battle Lake on Thursday night. The Eagles will return home on Friday night when they host the Sebeka Trojans in Park Region Conference action.

After starting the season with a record of 1-5, the Eagles have opened the 2025 portion of their schedule by going 3-4 overall, including 3-2 in the conference.
