Members of the New York Mills girls basketball team 1973 region championship team cracked a smile during the annual New York Mills Wall/Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday evening at the school. The basketball team, which was the first region champion in the state of Minnesota was one of five inductees into the prestigious organization. Other people who were inducted into the hall/wall of fame included: Joel Kumpula, Howard Legried, Terry Weller and Richard Ericksrud.
