Jonah Johnson gave up just two hits and struck out 11 batters as the New York Mills Millers defeated the Nimrod Gnats 13-3 on Sunday afternoon. 

The Millers outhit the Gnats 17-3 in the game with Logan Small and Bode Roberts each collecting three hits, while Johnson, Adam Patron and Derin Gaudette each picked up a pair of hits.

Among the highlights of the game was a solo home run off the bat of Roberts to lead off the top of the third inning, as well as two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning by Gaudette. 

Nimrod scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, but would get no closer than 13-3 as the Millers improved to 3-0 on the season. 

The Millers will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Detroit Lakes for a 7 p.m. game. On May 30 the Millers will travel to Perham and on Saturday, May 31 they will travel to Henning for a pair of games that will get underway at 7:30 p.m.
