0The Relay For Life of Otter Tail County is this Friday, July 11, at the East Otter Tail Fairgrounds. Organizers are excited to be celebrating 30 years of Relaying in Otter Tail County. They have some exciting things planned to celebrate people who have had an active part in this thirty year history and to celebrate all cancer survivors in Otter Tail County.
Organizers are also excited to try out a new location for this years Relay: the East Otter Tail Fairgrounds. This change was necessary due to the Perham HS track being refurbished, but the new location provides some new opportunities, including more space and better parking. It also provides an opportunity to try some new activities, including a classic car show, Bingo, and food trucks.
These will be added to the activities people count on: the Silent Auction, bounce houses, kids games, Wacky Hair, and many options for food. It will be a great night of celebration!
This is what Relay day looks like:
• 2 p.m. – Luminary set out (public is invited to help)
• 5:30 p.m. – Activities begin
(Silent Auction, Bingo, Classic Cars, Bounce Houses, Kids Games, Wacky Hair, Food at many campsites)
• 5:30-7 p.m. – Bingo
