The annual Deer Trails Day parade will roll through town on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. as part of the annual town celebration in Deer Creek. Other highlights include fireworks on Friday night and live music throughout the day.

All roads lead to Deer Creek this weekend for the annual Deer Trails Day celebration.

The busy weekend will get underway on Friday night for the annual fireworks show after the baseball game at Elmer Becker Field. 

Saturday will begin with the pancake breakfast at the fire station from 8-10 a.m., before the craft and vendor market kicks off at 8 a.m. The Deer Creek Rod and Gun booth with games and a raffle will begin at 10 a.m. and the grand day parade and kiddie parade will roll through town at 11 a.m. Also beginning at 11 a.m. will be the petting zoo. 

A number of games will be held in the downtown Deer Creek area beginning at 12 p.m. with the guess the pennies game at the museum, duck races in which people can race ducks that are purchased at the information booth and face painting/balloon animals, youth games and more will all get underway at noon. 

Horse drawn trolley rides will be held from 1-3 p.m. at the bank and a youth bean bag tournament will be held at 2 p.m. with the adult bean bag tournament to take place on Main Street at 6:30 p.m.

Other events on Saturday include bingo, baseball games, coin scramble and a bike raffle. 

The all-school reunion will be held at the community center at 6:30 p.m.

Throughout the day, live music will be held in the downtown area. Eric’s Dance Band will perform from 12-2 p.m., before AC Entertainment will perform from 2-6 p.m. on Main Street. The featured band will be Nasty Habit, who will perform from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Saturday night.
