Sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted those who stopped by Deer Creek over the weekend for the annual Deer Trails Day celebration. The weekend included fireworks, parade, street dance, petting zoo and much more. One of the highlights of the weekend was the 55th reunion of the 1970 Class B state champion Deer Creek Cardinal baseball team. The ceremony took place right before the start of a region baseball game at Elmer Becker Field. Above: Don and Mavis Becker were recognized as the Deer Trails Day Parade Grand Marshal’s on Saturday morning. Right: The petting zoo was once again a popular stop for youth and families of all ages following the parade on Saturday.
