Ottertail to host Shriners parade on Saturday

A unique parade will be rolling through the streets of downtown Ottertail on Saturday.
A Shriners Parade will begin at the Ottertail Community Center and will have over 30 entries, including everything from the color guard, Shriner clowns, a Viking ship, red sports cars, Shriner motorcycles and much more.
Ottertail Mayor Ron Grobeck said there is a Shriners convention in Ottertail over the course of the weekend and the group approached the City of Ottertail about having a parade in town to coincide with their convention.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and individuals are invited to line the streets to see the parade as it rolls through town. The parade will begin at the community center and end on West Lake Drive.
