One injured in potato truck, vehicle crash on Highway 10

One person was injured when the 2018 Ford Focus she was driving rear ended a truck that was attempting to make a turn off of Highway 10.

One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 10 and County Road 53 in-between New York Mills and Perham on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2001 Sterling Straight Truck, driven by Kenneth Betts, age 40 of New York Mills, was eastbound on Highway 10 and attempted to turn left onto County Road 53. A 2018 Ford Focus, driven by Amber Larson, age 28 of Wadena, was also eastbound when it rear ended the Sterling truck.
Larson received non-life threatening injuries in the accident and was treated at Sanford Medical in Fargo, N.D.
The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.
