The New York Mills Public Library recently received a donation of 100 children’s books from the Brownstone Book Fund, which is based in New York City.

The New York Mills Public Library has received a gift of 100 new children’s books ranging from pre-kindergarten through early readers. The books were donated from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York City, interested in fostering early reading, a love of books and encouraging parents and children to read together.

The new collection of books are now on display in the public library and can be checked out during regular business hours on Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
