The New York Mills Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3289 will be hosting this year’s Veterans Day program in the NY Mills School Auditorium at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

The program is organized by both the VFW Post and the VFW Auxiliary and is held to honor, salute and thank the men and women who have served and those who currently served in the nation’s military.

Each year, the event features a variety of speakers, the presentations of Quilts of Valor to local veterans, musical selections from the school’s band and choir, as well as the Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen essays written by NY Mills students. Winners will be recognized for their essays.

All members of the community are welcome to attend this event.
