Dunvilla area fire destroys garage on Nov. 4

Sheriff deputies, on Nov. 5, reported a vehicle crash with injuries in Dane Prairie Township, southwest of Wall Lake, between Fergus Falls and Underwood. The accident took place at the intersection of Highways 33 and 120. The time of the accident was 7:29 a.m.

A driver missed a stop sign, causing the vehicle to go off the roadway and across the intersection before coming to a stop in a farm field. The adult driver and three juvenile passengers were all taken to the hospital in Fergus Falls with non-life-threatening injuries.

County sheriff deputies were assisted by the Underwood Rescue Squad and Ringdahl Ambulance.

Dunvilla area fire destroys garage

A fire north of Dunvilla, and northeast of Pelican Rapids, was destroyed by fire that started close to 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 4. Leaves and debris caught fire and spread to the garage which was detached and separate from the house.

A second garage, nearby, had moderate damage, as did a near pickup and fish house. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident near Dunvilla and close to Highway 59.
