NYM School to host annual Hoop Shoot contest on December 13

0New York Mills School will host its annual local Hoop Shoot contest on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. Registration for the contest will begin at 12:30 p.m.
NY Mills boys and girls who are at least eight and no older than 13 as of April 1, 2026 can compete in the contest.
The age divisions for boys and girls include: boys 8-9, girls 8-9, boys 10-11, girls 10-11, boys 12-13, girls 12-13.
Local winners will advance to the district competition set for Saturday, Jan. 10 in Wadena.
For more information, or those who are able to help with things like registration, scoring or rebounding, contact Jason Boe at the school. All three gyms will be used for the local Hoop Shoot.
