As part of its regularly scheduled meeting last Monday night, the NY Mills School District approved a two-year contract with the Education Minnesota NY Mills Teachers Union, as well as a two-year contract with the bus drivers union.
As part of the agreement with the teachers union the total increase in the package over the course of two years was about seven percent, which included both a slight increase in wages and insurance over the course of the contract.
The bus drivers will see approximately a six percent increase in wages over the course of the next two years as part of the new agreement.
