NYM to travel to Bertha-Hewitt on Thursday

The New York Mills Eagles dropped a pair of games at the annual Perham tournament on Monday and Tuesday, as well as a tough 57-49 overtime game to Parkers Prairie on Saturday, 

On Monday morning the Eagles fell to Class AA 10th ranked Perham 82-47 in the opening round of the Perham tournament, before falling to fellow Section 6A foe Park Christian on Tuesday by a score of 80-43 in the third place game.

On Saturday the Eagles returned home for the first time in over 2 1/2 weeks when they dropped a heart-breaker to Parkers Prairie by a score of 57-49. The loss was the fifth straight for the Eagles who are now 3-6 on the season and gearing up for another busy stretch of games to kick off the 2026 portion of their schedule.

After hosting Swanville in non-conference action on Tuesday night, the Eagles will hit the road for three straight conference games beginning Thursday night when they travel to Bertha-Hewitt. On Tuesday, Jan. 13 the Eagles will travel to Henning, before hitting the road once against on Friday, Jan. 16 when they travel to Verndale for another Park Region Conference contest.
