Knowledge bowl is a competition where teams begin by answering 60 academic, trivia, and pop culture questions in 50 minutes as a team.  Then they compete in four oral rounds against two other teams at a time advancing up or down each round. The more extensive, varied, and diverse their knowledge is the better their team can perform.  

In the oral round, speed and timing are key on when to buzz in with the correct answer. 

New York Mills senior high knowledge bowl teams did awesome in Concordia before break.  Competing against 27 AA, mid sized schools, our teams placed:

• Second place: Brienna Honer, Isaac Geiser, Aubrey Barthel, Lucy Wallgren and Elijah Geiser

• Fifth place: Elsa Dufour, Colson Keskitalo, Eli Aho, Alex Mack, and Dylan Selander
