Glow Bingo to light up the night at NYM City Hall

0NYM Regional Cultural Center launches a glowing new fundraiser on January 24
The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center is turning down the lights and turning up the fun with GLOW BINGO, an all-new winter fundraiser coming to the NYM City Hall Ballroom on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 5:30-10 p.m.
GLOW BINGO combines classic bingo with a high-energy glow-in-the-dark party atmosphere, complete with blacklights, music, and big prizes — all in support of arts, culture, and creative programming in rural Minnesota.
“GLOW BINGO is designed to be more than just a fundraiser — it’s a full-on winter party for the community,” said the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center. “It’s a chance for friends, coworkers, and neighbors to come together, have fun, and support the arts at the same time.”
The evening will feature 10 emcee-hosted bingo games, each offering $200 in cash prizes, along with glow-themed surprises, mini-games, and additional prizes. A live DJ, professional game-show-style hosting, video screens, and special lighting will create a vibrant, immersive experience. Players will also receive glow bingo daubers and multiple bingo cards per game.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for social hour, with music, a full cash bar hosted by the NYM Lions Club, and food available for purchase from Continental Divide Brew Pub. Complimentary snacks will be provided by sponsor KLN Family Brands. Bingo begins at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $50 cash at the door and include 10 games of bingo. Additional games and optional 50/50 drawings will be available for $5 each. This event is 18+.
The Cultural Center is proud to be partnering with Game Show Gurus / Game Show Experience, a nationally recognized entertainment company bringing professional hosts, high-quality sound, video screens, and dynamic lighting to make GLOW BINGO a true game-show-style event.
Major event sponsors include Lund Boat Company (Spotlight Sponsor), Arvig, Nardello CPA, KLN Family Brands, Tender Hearts Home Care, Hubbard Radio Wadena 105.9 Superstation & KWAD, and The Lakes 99.5 – Lakes Area Radio, along with many local prize and bingo game sponsors.
Proceeds from GLOW BINGO will support the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center’s vision to connect people with artists and rich cultural experiences, celebrating the local and being a window to the world.
Participants are encouraged to wear neon and bright colors to glow under the blacklights.
Registration is available online in advance, with payment collected in cash at the door the night of the event.
