New York Mills hit a bit of a rough patch of games last week as the Eagles went 1-3 against some of the top teams in the Park Region Conference. After falling to Park Rapids Area in dramatic fashion on Monday night by a score of 73-67 the Eagles fell to top ranked Henning 70-51 on Tuesday and Pillager by a score of 94-80.

NY Mills got the ship right on Friday and improved to 15-5 overall and 9-4 in the Park Region Conference with a 74-58 win over Bertha-Hewitt.

This week the Eagles will travel to one of the top teams in Section 6A in Park Christian on Tuesday night, before hosting Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal on Thursday and traveling to Bertha-Hewitt on Friday for a rematch with the Bears.

Friday

NY Mills snapped a brief three game losing streak with an important 74-58 win over Bertha-Hewitt on Friday that cemented the Eagles place in third place in the Park Region Conference. The Eagles have just one more conference game on their schedule, once again against the Bears on Friday night and are currently 9-4 in the PRC.

If Pillager loses their remaining three games in the conference the Eagles would tie the Huskies for second place in the conference if they win on Friday.
