Bode Roberts connected on a pair of home runs in both the first and second innings as the New York Mills Millers secured a commanding 11-0 win over Nimrod on Saturday afternoon.

The Millers wasted little time getting on the scoreboard as Roberts hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the first inning, before Logan Small hit an RBI single and Roberts hit a grand slam in the bottom of the second inning to put the Millers up 8-0. The Millers added one more run in the fifth inning and two more runs in the sixth inning to win the game by the 10-run rule. 

Roberts led the way offensively with three hits, three runs and seven RBIs. In addition to his two home runs, Roberts connected with a double in the win.

Finn Roder collected three hits and Austin Maneval picked up a pair of hits and two RBIs to help lead the charge. Maneval collected the win on the mound as he went five innings and gave up just one hit, six walks and struck out eight batters, before Derin Gaudette pitched two scoreless innings and didn’t give up a hit or walk, while striking out one batter.
