NYM wrestling club to host community shoot

The New York Mills wrestling club will be hosting a community shoot and fun night on Friday, Aug. 28. The event will be held at Rush Lake Range and will get underway at 5 p.m.
The family-friendly night will include shooting games like trap, Annie Oakley and skeet, as well as children’s games, a lunch and beverage which will be provided.
In addition to the shooting games, splatter boards will be shot. A splatter board is a target divided into 16 pie-shaped pieces. Pie pieces will be sold for $10 apiece and a random shooter gets to shoot the pie with a shotgun. The pie with the most bb holes wins half the pot.
Participants are asked to bring shotguns and a good supply of target-load ammunition (ammunition will be available if needed). Everyone is invited to attend the end of summer get together in rural NY Mills.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the NY Mills youth wrestling club.
