Pastor Stew Burns and several local volunteers set up 2,977 American flags at Central Park last week in remembrance of each of the victims of the 9/11 attacks. Friday was the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks, and assisting in the effort to set up the flags in New York Mills last week were members of Will Grieger’s social studies class.
