The New York Mills Eagles cross country  team had a great day in Ada last Thursday. 

Millie Schil took ninth in the junior high girls’ race while Helena Kimber and Layton Meyer did very well in their first varsity race. The Eagles collected many personal records (PR) as Dawson Seelhammer, Bailey Hammond, Sadie Hotakainen, Noah Radniecki, Izaya Cannon, Loren Underdahl, Chavez Cannon, Gus Tumberg and Finn Costin all had their fastest times ever.

At the end of the meet Coach Greg Esala said,”Wow! To see our runners improving by so much is exciting to see. They all work hard and make their coaches very proud.”

On Thursday of this week, the Eagles head to the Madden’s West Golf Course to compete in the Pillager invitational.
