Last Thursday at the Otter Tail Central cross country meet held at Balmoral Golf Course the Eagle runners had an exceptional day as eight Eagles had a personal record (PR). Sadie Hotakainen, Bailey Hammond, Layton Meyer, Chavez Cannon, Noah Radniecki, Izaya Cannon, Matthew Freyholtz and Loren Underdahl all had their best race of the year.
In the Junior High girls’ race, Millie Schik ran well and came in eighth place.
At the end of the day, Coach Greg Esala said, “Wow! What a day our team had! We all continue to consistently improve our times. This reminds us that our hard work in practices really pays off!”
The Eagles run at the Perham Harriers meet on Tuesday, and then at the Park Region Conference Meet in Long Prairie on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
