NYM bowling team qualifies for state bowling tourmanet

The New York Mills High School bowling team has once again qualified for the state bowling tournament. The team has battled a number of injuries this season, but were able to pull together a number of solid rounds to qualify for the state meet.
The state tournament will be held on November 21 at Southtown Bowl in Bloomington, Minn.
In order to fund the trip to the Twin Cities, the bowling team is seeking donations to help pay for travel expenses, hotel rooms and meals. Anyone who would like to help the team make their trip to state can mail a donation to 53145 460th St. in Perham or drop off a donation at Mills Lanes and Lucky Strike Grill.
In addition to state, the team will be competing in the conference meet in two weeks at a location to be determined.
Team members include: Emily DeYonge, Fox Holtberg, Wyatt Helmbrecht, Chase Tibbetts, Kolston Lofgren, Brock Ruther and Blake Hiltner.
