The New York Mills Library hosted a mobile sign shop on Friday afternoon. Springboard for the Arts artist Peter Haakon Thompson helped people of all ages create a customized, carved wooden sign. This event was free and open to all ages. It was sponsored by Viking Library System and the NY Mills Public Library with the funding from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
