The New York Mills VFW coloring contest winners were recently announced. First, second and fourth grade students participated this year. The first place poster from each grade will move to the region contest.

First grade winners: Marlee Ament (1st), Lance Beversluis (2nd), and Penelope Guck (3rd).
Second grade winners: Lucy Koljonen (1st), Blake Vaughan (2nd), and Reid Peeters (3rd)
Fourth grade winners: Bryce Kopveiler (1st) and Annabelle Bernu (2nd).
