LRAC Spring Legacy grant applications are open

0Lakes Region Arts Council is accepting grant applications from individual artists and organizations until March.
LRAC is proud to be a partner and active participant in Minnesota’s Statewide Arts System. LRAC and the Minnesota State Arts Board (MSAB) work together to provide grants and services to our nine county region. LRAC supports the work of Minnesota Citizens for the Arts through organizing grass roots activities and promoting attendance at Arts Advocacy Day. LRAC is a recipient of McKnight Foundation funding which supports our work with individual artists. LRAC also partners with Springboard for the Arts to provide a satellite Springboard office based in Fergus Falls.
Individuals: The Legacy Individual Grant provides up to $6,000 ($3,000 for equipment) to individual artists in the LRAC nine-county region, to increase Arts Access, Arts Learning and Arts and Cultural Heritage opportunities for all Minnesotans. Contact the Grants Manager for questions prior to beginning your application.
Organizations: The Legacy Organization Grant provides up to $12,500 to increase Arts Access, Arts Learning and Arts and Cultural Heritage opportunities for all Minnesotans. Eligible organizations include Arts Organizations (nonprofit), nonprofits with project that have Arts as the primary focus, local governments, and educational institutions in the LRAC nine-county region. Applications for both programs are due Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 5 p.m.
