The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center announcd Ceramics Workshops at the Cultural Center on two Thursdays, Oct. 17 and Oct. 24

This is an exciting opportunity for art enthusiasts to join a two-part ceramics workshop series with local artist and instructor Brad Wegscheid. Held on two consecutive Thursdays, Oct. 17 and Oct. 24, from 5-6:30 p.m., this workshop offers participants the chance to create their own handcrafted clay wind chimes or garden bells.

This hands-on workshop is a unique opportunity to dive into the creative process of working with clay. Under Wegscheid’s expert instruction, attendees will learn a variety of techniques such as clay extruding, slab rolling, and hand-building, allowing them to design and craft their own wind chimes or garden bells. Brad will provide unique examples and individualized guidance, helping participants unlock their creativity and craft their own one-of-a-kind pieces that will bring a touch of handmade charm to any outdoor space.

The cost to attend the workshop is $65 and $60 for Cultural Center members. The class size is limited to 12 participants, with a minimum of five participants needed. All of the materials will be provided.

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with prior experience working with clay. Don’t miss the chance to explore your creative potential and learn new skills in a fun, welcoming environment!
