Unfortunately, the league only gives out medals for first through third place, but it’s definitely worth mentioning!
Kailey Keskitalo also made the “Top by Gender” cut as she’s one of the top 25 females in the “state.”
Chase Keskitalo tied for third place for “Top Male” in NY Mills’ conference and will be receiving a third place medal at the championship.
Chase Keskitalo also finished as one of the top 100 shooters in the state of Minnesota with an average of 23.70 and has been invited to the state tournament in Prior Lake at the Minneapolis Gun Club to compete as an individual. Keskitalo is also NY Mills’ #1 Top Gun of the Team and shot a “50” straight during the last week of the conference competition.
Head coach Tom Kotarski said he would like to thank the entire team, parents, coaches and contributors who made donations to the team for helping make this happen.
But it’s not over yet as NY Mills will be getting ready for its next big competition, the state championship in Alexandria on June 19.
