New York Mills School honored 12 students as students of the quarter. The new program recognizes students in the areas of academics and/or character. NY Mills high school staff nominate students at the end of each quarter for the award. Four junior high students and eight high school students will be recognized as Star Students each quarter. Students who were selected as Star Students for the first quarter include: Dominic Angell, Madison Ruther, Alycyn Swanson, Natalie Pederson, Rosemary Laudenbach, Breck Hensch, Henry Sobieski, Chloe Koljonen and Aubree Salo.
