Nanette Neels, age 55, of New York Mills, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2021, at the Sanford Health in Fargo, N.D.

  Nanette was born to Lawrence and Mary (Schill) Neels on May 8, 1966, in Wadena. She attended Wadena Public Schools and lived her entire life with her family.  Nanette had a happy disposition and enjoyed finding treasures at auctions, garage sales and thrift stores. She liked to grow plants and play with her cats!

  Preceding Nanette in death was her father, Lawrence (2016).  She is survived by her mother, Mary and brother, Ricky, both of New York Mills; along with numerous friends and acquaintances.

  Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Wadena. No services are planned at this time.
