Do you want to help shape the future of New York Mills School over the next five years? If so, the NY Mills School District wants to hear from you.

Between now and Jan. 12, the NY Mills School is seeking input from the community via an online form for its new five year strategic plan. The short questionnaire will help to provide the school board and district with input from community members and stakeholders about what they would like to see happen at the school between now and 2027, whether that be building projects, student needs, curriculum and more.

The strategic plan survey can be located on the school’s Facebook page and district website. The survey will be available through Jan. 12 and everyone who is a stakeholder in the NY Mills School District is invited to complete the survey. Those stakeholders can be anyone from community members, parents, business owners or other people with a tie to the community who would like to have an input on the next five years of planning at NY Mills School.

The district recently completed its previous strategic plan and is looking toward the next five years of projects.

The school board hired Tru North Consultants, Terry Quist and Jeffrey Olson, to facilitate the project. The strategic planning meetings will occur from late January through February, with a final plan presented at the Feb. 28 school board meeting.

The short survey will take less than five minutes to complete and can be found at https://forms.gle/kfBujDd4rmPg4eGU7
