Doris Beach, age 85 of Sebeka, Minn., passed away on February 2, 2021 at Green Pine Acres in Menahga, Minn. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, and the safety of family and friends, a memorial service will be held in the Spring of 2021. 

Doris Lucille Beach was born on May 29, 1935 in Hiwood Township, Warroad, Minn.  Doris grew up in Butler, where she was raised by her parents Ernest and Hazel Brown. Doris attended the New York Mills High School, graduating with the class of 1954.  

On August 13, 1956 Doris was united in marriage to Gerald Douglas Beach at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Butler. Their marriage was blessed with 2 children, Gayle and Dan. Together Doris and Gerald traveled to California and then resided in Becker County, Minnesota. Since October of 1966 they made their home in Paddock Township, rural Sebeka, Minn.  

Doris was an active 4-H Leader and the local TOPS and Homemakers Club. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and raising chickens and cattle.  

On February 2, 2021 Doris passed away at Green Pine Acres in Menahga, Minnesota at 85 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Hazel Brown; birth father, Floyd Tracy. 

Doris is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Beach of Sebeka; children: Gayle (Stewart) Limanen of Osage; Dan Beach of Sebeka; grandchildren: Renee (Kevin) Peterka; Nathan (Cortney) Limanen; Tara (Eddie) Weller; great-grandchildren: Katie, Bentley, TJ, Peyton, Arnie and Civic; sister, Ruth Miller of Wadena; brothers: Robert (Linda) Brown of Deer Creek; Ernest Brown Jr. of Staples; Lyle (Mary) Brown of Butler; many other relative and a host of friends.
