June 26, 1926 – April 10, 2022.

Alvin was a resident of New York Mills and St. Paul, Minn.

He is survived by wife of 74 years, Colene (Starr) Jacobson and sister, Ruth Oja

Sons, Dave, Adam (Joann) and Eric. Preceded in death by son, Greg.

Grandchildren Jenny, Tyler, Jesse, Andrea, Joey and Stephanie and 10.5 great-grandchildren

Born and raised in New York Mills then raised 4 sons with Colene in St. Paul, Minn. near Lake Phalen and worked 42 years at the American Can Company before retiring back to New York Mills.  Al and Colene wintered in Arizona for many years.  Member of the NYM Lions, UCC Church, Veteran of Korean War.  An avid sports fan, especially golf.  Memorial at later date in New York Mills.
