Funeral Services were held for Beth Curtis on Friday, June 18, 2021 at United Methodist Church in Ottertail, with Pastor Bob Karst and Pastor Jon St. Martin officiating. The pallbearers were Myles Curtis, Toby Curtis, Steve Steinbach, Todd Paavola, Mike Kerzman and Rick Dykoff.  Beth will be laid to rest at Wadena City Cemetery, Wadena. 

Beth Annette Pierce was born on May 19, 1962, in Wadena.  Her parents are Toby Pierce  and the late Jeanette (Benson) Pierce.  Beth graduated from the Wadena High School with the class of 1980. Beth went on to attend the Wadena Vocational Technical College where she received a degree in medical records.  Beth resided in Minneapolis, Minn. where she was employed at the Shriners. 

Beth was united in marriage to Randall “Randy” Curtis on August 26, 1989, at United Methodist Church in Wadena. Their marriage was blessed with two sons: Myles and Toby. They made their home in Ottertail as Beth was employed with Merit Care in Detroit Lakes. 

Beth enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. 

On June 12, 2021, Beth passed away under the gentle care of LB Hospice at her home in Ottertail, Minnesota at 59 years of age.  She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Beth is preceded in death by her mother: Jeanette Pierce; grandparents: Thorston and Ellen Benson; Sam and Evalyn Peirce; nephews: Lance Pierce and Matthew Pierce; cousins: Doug Benson and Jon Benson. 

Surviving Beth is her husband: Randy Curtis of Ottertail; father: Toby Pierce of Wadena; sons: Myles Curtis of Ottertail, Toby (Jenna) Curtis of Henning; grandchildren: Ridley and Boone Curtis of Henning; sisters: Lynn (Bernie Frey) Pierce of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Erin (Donny Conniley) Pierce of Apple Valley, Minn.; brothers: Mark (Vicki) Pierce of Brooklyn Park; and Eric (Nancy) Pierce of Deer Creek; along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
