Cynthia Ann Koste was born on June 10, 1961, in Wadena, to Larry and Elsie (Peters) Koste.  She attended New York Mills High School and played with the lady Eagles on the state champion basketball team in 1977 shooting the free throw that won the game. Cindy completed her GED in 1979. 

Cindy was always very thoughtful of other people and had a keen sense of humor and wasn’t afraid to tell you what’s on her mind. 

Cindy is preceded in death by her father Larry; brother Daniel; grandparents: Gus and Helen Peters and Carl and Mary Koste.

Cindy will be remembered by her children: Danny Koste and Melody (Jason) Koste; mother Elsie Koste; brothers Randy Koste and Scott (Kari) Koste; grandchildren: Jaden and Owen; nieces and nephews: Katilynn Koste, Kory Koste, and Kyle (Shelly) Koste; great-nieces: CeCelia & Vivian; and a host of relatives and friends.
