Joan Nelson, age 67, of Mitchell, S.D., passed away on July 27, 2026, at Altru Health in Grand Forks, N.D. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 4-7 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 6:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, rural Perham. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Visitation will resume one hour prior to Mass at church.
