Louis Stoderl, age 67 of Perham, died Sunday, August 7, 2022, in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, N.D. A celebration of Louie’s life will be held from 5-8 p.m. with a time of sharing at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Schoeneberger Funeral and Cremation Service in Perham. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Henry’s Catholic Cemetery in Perham.

Louis Albert Stoderl was born June 8, 1955, in Perham, the son of William and Mary Louise (Berns) Stoderl. He graduated from Perham High School in 1974. Louie had a passion for cars, especially Corvettes, even doing some car racing in his younger years. Louie also enjoyed the outdoors and watching old Western movies. Prior to retirement he worked in maintenance at Thumper Pond, but will be remembered as being a carpenter for most of his life.

Preceding Louie in death were his parents and surviving Louie are his siblings: James of Perham, Richard of New York Mills, Ruth (Mike) Lewanski of Florida, Jean (Thomas) Ahlfs of Ottertail, and Karen (David) Owings of Glyndon, Minn.; special friend Leona Ulrich of Perham; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
