Mary Lou McGuire, age 96, of Brainerd, Minn., passed away on September 20, 2026, at Lakewood Health System Nursing Home in Staples, Minn. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 4-6 p.m. at the McGuire home, 119 6th Ave. W., Cresco, IA 52136, with a Rosary Vigil beginning at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Church, 223 2nd Ave. E., Cresco, IA 52136, followed by a funeral repast. Visitation with family at the church will begin at 10 a.m.
