Teresa was born on October 2, 1978, in New York Mills to Elaine (Mohs) Anderson and the late Duane Anderson.

Teresa graduated from New York Mills High School in 1997 and then went on to attend Minnesota State University- Moorhead, graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

In 2002, Teresa married her high school sweetheart, Nicholas Pederson, on September 21, 2002 in a celebration filled with joy, love, and the support of their closest family and friends. Together, they began a life full of adventure, moving from Casselton, N.D. to Boise, Idaho, then to Kennewick, Wash.—where they welcomed their first daughter, Natalie, in 2003. Life brought the family back to Minnesota, where they lived in Pine River, Remer, and finally Hill City, where Samantha joined the family in 2006, followed by Rylie in 2010. Eventually, Teresa and Nic returned to their hometown of New York Mills to put down lasting roots and raise their girls surrounded by the community that shaped them.

Teresa’s life was grounded in faith, love, and quiet strength. She was a devoted wife and mother who led with compassion and stood firm in what she believed. She offered grace freely, loved fiercely, and never wavered in her support for the people she cared about. Her deep faith and strong will carried her through life’s challenges with courage and dignity.

She is remembered for her kind heart, her warm smile, and the way she made everyone feel like they mattered. Teresa gave so much of herself to others—and did it without needing recognition. She simply loved, and loved well.

Teresa is preceded in death by her father Duane Anderson and mother-in-law JoClaire Pederson.

She is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas, and their three children, Natalie, Samantha, and Rylie, her mother Elaine (Mohs) Anderson, father in-law, Roger Pederson, and siblings Chad (Justine) Anderson, Tony (Tiffany) Anderson, and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She leaves behind a legacy of love and grace that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
