The VFW Post 3289 Auxiliary meeting was held on February 17 with nine members present.  

There were two petitions for new membership.

A thank you was received from the Fergus Falls Veterans Home for our donation to the Green House Project and, also, for the Valentine Cards we provided.

A total of 133 cards were made and distributed for the Hospital-National Salute to Veterans, District Valentines for Veterans (Joint with Buddy Poppy).  90 Valentines were brought to the Fergus Falls Veterans Home, the remainder were used for Meals On Wheels, Mills Manor, or mailed.  Auxiliary members brought bars to a local benefit.  The Auxiliary will be preparing the breakfast on June 12, 2022 during the RMH Ride.

The next District Meeting is on March 12, 2022 in Detroit Lakes.  Our Auxiliary will donate $100 to VFW National Home for Children general fund.  $40 will be given to RMH Charities.  The Auxiliary will provide a magazine subscription to “Reminisce” for the Fergus Falls Veterans Home.  

The next meeting will be on March 10 at 6 p.m.
